In Memory of Dr. Ronald Kaplansky (1944-2020)
Dr. Ronald J. Kaplansky practiced podiatric medicine in Columbus, Ohio for nearly forty years. He earned his BS from the Ohio State University. He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1972.
He was board certified in foot surgery. He held numerous leadership roles including President of the State of Ohio Medical Board and President of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association, and chief of the section of Podiatry at Park Medical Center.
He retired from patient care in 2015. He remained active as a practice consultant. He enjoyed coming into the office to visit some of his patients that continued to return based on the wonderful care he provided.

Columbus podiatrist, Dr. David Kaplansky, is taking the lead on a new bunion correction procedure called lapiplasty. The surgery addresses the source of the bunion and problem, which Dr. Kaplansky said is the unstable middle foot joint.
